פז בראשית — In the beginning, there was wood.
Each piece is shaped by hand from carefully chosen timber — carved, joined, and finished with the patience that only true craft demands. Functional beauty made to last generations.
Wall-mounted wine holders with integrated glass racks — elegant, functional, and built to become the centerpiece of any room. The signature product line.
Sculptural wood panels and relief pieces that bring warmth and texture to bare walls. Each one shaped from a single slab or joined from contrasting species.
Floating shelves, display units, and open storage designed with clean lines and a craftsman's attention to grain, proportion, and fit.
Small furniture — side tables, benches, and stools — built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and finished by hand to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
Engraved boards, personalised trays, serving sets, and decorative objects — thoughtful gifts crafted to be treasured for a lifetime.
Have something specific in mind? Bring your idea, a photo, or just a feeling. Every commission starts with a conversation and ends with something made for you alone.
"Wood remembers. Every ring is a year — every grain, a story the tree already told."
Paz Yosef is a self-taught woodworker and visual artist based in Israel. Working out of a small studio, each piece begins with the selection of the timber — walnut, oak, ash, pine, or olive — and ends only when the wood itself says it is done.
The work spans wine racks and wall shelves to sculptural panels and bespoke furniture. What unites it all is a commitment to honest materials, hand-cut joinery, and finishes that let the natural character of the wood speak for itself. No two pieces are alike.
Only solid hardwoods and natural finishes. No veneers, no shortcuts — just wood as it wants to be.
Dovetails, mortise-and-tenon, bridle joints — built to hold for generations without a single nail.
Timber chosen with care — from local suppliers and salvaged sources wherever possible.
Every commission is a collaboration. Dimensions, species, finish, and engraving — all tailored to your space and story.
